[trip] kelantan

on 8th Oct 2010-10th Oct 2010 we have a trip to kelantan for QA module..visiting MH UMMI, looking into factory layout n production..

back to tasty post:)
during the stay at Kelantan taste few original kelatanese meals..laksam for 1st day breakfast.along with limau ais..they call it 'singo beng' *not sure the spelling*..cute eh?

and for tea having 'colek' at pantai cahaya bulan:).colek is just mix of fried stuff (prawn, squid, crab stick, etc) and eat with sauce..

sebelum ni quite number jugak desert yang dah buat..jadi dgn tak jadi, dua2 ada..tp byk pic dalam memory card handphone. the bad news is, memory card dh rosak..ermm, byk gambr dah takde..

selamat hari raya to all!!

walaupun dah hari ke 21 raya, saya still nk post up ni..raya tahun ni kami buat open house, more like family gathering sebelah ayah..around 80+ juga saudara yang datang. yang menarik, kami masak sendiri..mainly mak and mama yang jadi chef. ktorng jadi buruh je..kupas bawang, rendang kacang, potong ayam..

except for lemang yag tempah, yag lain masak sendiri. memang satu experience masak byk2..sgt penat but best:) kek chocolate tak jadi hari tue, tp koktail buah mmg sangat laku, sampai tak cukup..ada masa will post up the recepi and pic..chiao!

Today(act it was on 7th raya), we made SCONE. This is some kind of pastry mainly from flour and butter. It was awa that suggest we made this for today tea. When it’s eaten hot, it was delicious. With the kurma sweetness and some sourness from sour cream, it was perfect. The crumbs from the top part, jiji like it very much but still, awa get furious when he eat that part only. Some part of it we give to akak’s friend. We pack for him since it getting dark when the scone is done. Hope he enjoy it.

Ingredient
400g flour
3 tp baking powder
½ tp soda bicarbonate
¼ tp salt
100g sugar
100g butter
1 tbs lemon
1 cup sour cream
1 cup kurma/kismis/prune

Instructions
Mix well flour, soda bicarbonate, salt and sugar. Mix butter (room temperature) that has been cut into small pieces. Make it into crumbs. Pour in kurma and sour cream, and lemon skin. Take out the dough and shape it like pizza dough. Cut into triangle and bake it for 204°C for 25 minutes.

dear all..

finally..the 2nd blog of my life is here*claps2*
hee..this one is simply for all the recipe and works*or should i say art..lol*..
it has been a lot..
honestly..this one is born because i've got the new oven lately* excited*..and then i wonder why don't i make a good memories and collection for all the recipe that i've done..since it will be easier for any review..

and then..tara, new blog is coming right up:)
